xylonBorn and raised in Port Elizabeth, Xylon attended Bethelsdorp Comprehensive High School where he was head boy and then went on to be the station producer at Algoa FM. After deciding to part with the coastal lifestyle he went on to host various shows at Kaya FM in Johannesburg and now has the responsibility of managing the 5FM Playlist as a fulltime job.

He also keeps himself busy by presenting a weekly show called TGL on One Gospel and involved in music selection for the channel. A cycling fanatic, modest Xylon claims to look great in Spandex - which might explain why he also calls himself a "fashion disaster".

When asked: "What is the most important moment in your life to date?", Xylon replied: "Winning the Port Elizabeth MTV VJ search".

He attended the PE auditions of the MTV Base VJ Search in September 2006 and was one of the four finalists.

Worst Fashion Disaster: Me dressing myself every day

Favourite Movie: Notting Hill, I have watched it 59 times

Top 3 Hobbies And Past-times: Cycling, watching DVD's, listening to Steve Hofmeyr (being sarcastic about Steve Hofmeyr, much the same artist as Patricia Lewis!), and robbing innocent children.
